Design & Technology
At Silchester, it is our intent that DT is taught in all year groups in either discreet or cross-curricular projects. By the time children reach Year 6, they will have had experience of food technology, textiles, mechanical and construction.
Children will be taught how to design, make, evaluate, and have technical knowledge when designing and making. Students will be taught cooking and nutrition to develop important skills for healthy living.
The Silchester Inventors and Designers will:
